We achieve this by overlaying a cascading navigation menu onto any ad format (even other Rich Media formats) that lets the customer choose the products, transactions and marketing information that the customer wants to go to. By seeing all the destinations in advance, before even leaving the ad, and by self-selecting the path to any desired destination in a single click, Linkstorm typically increases click-through and conversion rates by at least 2x-5x, as compared directly with the same ad without a Linkstorm menu in an alternating A/B rotation. Reporting & Metrics Linkstorm provides new and deeper insights into customers’ true interests by measuring and reporting every aspect of interaction with a Linkstorm menu, especially click-tracking at the individual menu item level which reveals which products, offers or brand messages are drawing the most clicks and conversions. All of this is also independently verifiable through normal Ad Server reporting. In addition, Linkstorm goes beyond Ad Server reporting to provide more detailed insights such as menu unfurls (interaction events) and hover time (time spent browsing the navigation options on the menu).
Optimization Based on the customer insights provided by our metrics, the client can optimize the menu in real-time, WITHOUT have to re-master and re-traffick the ads per se. A central update of a Linkstorm menu automatically ripples across all ad units, publisher sites, and individual insertions that are already deployed, without having to touch the ads themselves. Soon the menus will be automatically self-optimizing based on business rules, but they are already updateable in real-time via human decision.
