AOL Gives Consumers Their Lifestream

(NYSE: AOL) today announced that its popular social aggregator, Lifestream, will now be available via desktop as a standalone product as well as on the iPhone and Android mobile platforms.  Lifestream allows users to view status messages and posts from their friends on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, YouTube and much more – all in one place.  In addition, Lifestream will now include updates from foursquare and MySpace.  Since Lifestream’s launch within AIM a few months ago, usage has soared to nearly 2 million users* making it one of the largest aggregators of social content on the Web.  Read more

DENVER, March 10, 2010 – As part of the company’s presence at this year’s SXSW Conferences and Festivals, MapQuest is showcasing the latest expansion of its developer platform and demonstrating the company’s newest easy-to-use, developer friendly tools. MapQuest Platform 6.0, MapQuest’s suite of Web services, is aimed at making it effortless for developers to location-enable their applications.  The 24th SXSW will take place March 12 – March 21, 2010 in Austin, Texas.

New York – March 03, 2010 – AOL Music’s Spinner.com, the most-visited rock music site on the Web*, announced today it anticipates that Broken Bells will headline the first of a series of free pop-up shows in Austin, Texas, during the South by Southwest Music Festival (March 17-21) with additional shows by Rogue Wave, VV Brown and Rival Schools. The four free pop-up shows will be held at undisclosed locations around Austin beginning March 17. This week at the annual IAB Conference in Carlsbad, CA, AOL was awarded the #1 ranking for Quality Sales Organization among 93 online advertising sales organizations rated by 200 respondents to this year’s Myers Survey. The awards were based on the results of the annual Jack Myers Media Business Report Survey of Advertising Executives on Online Sales Organization Attributes. The Myers survey is underwritten by 60 agencies, media companies, research and financial firms that subscribe to the Jack Myers Media Business Report.

AOL JOINS MIT MEDIA LAB CONSORTIUM

AOL NAMES DAVID EUN PRESIDENT OF AOL MEDIA AND STUDIOS

Eun Will Oversee All AOL Content, SEED.com and Studio Operations

New York, NY, February 4, 2010 – AOL Inc. (NYSE: AOL) today announced that David Eun will join the company as President of AOL Media and Studios, effective March 1. As AOL's chief content executive, Eun will be responsible for the company's more than 80 content sites, its new SEED.com publishing platform, as well as the newly acquired StudioNow video platform and AOL's NYC and LA studios.

Eun will report to AOL Chairman and CEO Tim Armstrong and will be based in New York. He succeeds Bill Wilson, President, AOL Media, who will transition out of the role after nine years with AOL.

Until 2006, Eun helped to oversee AOL as Vice President, Operations for the Media & Communications Group at Time Warner Inc. In that role, he helped provide operational oversight and develop new businesses, particularly in digital distribution and broadband content and services, for the company's AOL, Time Warner Cable and Time, Inc. divisions. Eun joins AOL from Google, where as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, he was responsible for managing global content partnerships with Google and YouTube. Read more
